Site of Logram branding and creative agency based in Japan. Looking like a mash up of an early 2000s graphic design experiment and Photoshop layer this site is a medly of type, colours, and gradients. Lovely interactions, where sections of the site are in in separate spaces with sections of colour transitioning to the new pages. Love the dynamic colour palette too, along with the moving layers it feels as though the site is never the same from one moment to another. Very refreshing, lively and bold agency site.
Site of freelance fashion stylist Katie Shillingford based in London. Love the homepage with panels of swipe-able photography from projects highlighted in the UI on scroll. Nice colour transition between the project sections, and the subtle movement of the carousels. Minimal design and beautiful photography make for a modern and stylish site.
Site of musical festival Bad Bonn Kilbi in Switzerland. Love the Star Wars-esque page design, scroll down to see the site, tap on a artist and it plays a track – with a delightful rotating disc – some sections split the page and transition to a 2D view of the content. Really fun, playful experience – love the minimal design and awesome interactions.
Site of creative agency based in Paris. Love the homepage with a slideshow-esque functionality, where the label is filled by time and jumps to the next project. Wonderful mix of photography and video, the project pages are sublime with transitions from full screen video to colour bg with imagery and type on multiple z-depths. Nice attention to detail – really dig the jumping ball to show where you are – injects some personality and playfulness – Love this site!

Interactive story about the last moments of life for the main protagonist. Incredible creativity, with home made props, custom software, and beautifully executed mix of video / 3D / type. Love the dynamic typeface and all the small animated details. Great sound design, interesting story, and light weight fun interactivity come together to provide this fascinating experience.
Gorgeous site of Tomato brand Duroc. Love the grid of bite size snippets from the company – each with corresponding hand made animations. Nicely executed with lots of nice transitions and animations from subtle parallax effects and wonderful transitions from grid view to article view. Beautiful art direction with nice palette of colours and warm paper / tactile style visuals. Proof that creativity and design can come from many places – in this case for the corporate site of snack tomato makers in Morocco.
Site of Concrete Rep a UK based rep agency for artists working in the fashion, editorial, and advertising industries. Love the homescreen with the segmentation of the various artists scrolling down the page with locked elements such as title creates a wonderful sense of movement. Also love all the subtle patterns and interactions such as scrolling to the end of the project takes you back to the previous page. It looks beautiful too, elegant and clean, with dynamic colour palette and great use of typography.
Beautiful experiential site which transports you to the hazy world of Hogwarts. Scroll through the 3D world and discover key moments from the Harry Potter world as you float around iconic locations. Beautifully executed with a nice balance of interactivity, playfulness, and content – it looks amazing with some of the best 3D implementation i’ve seen. Minimal UI and hierarchy allows you to really immersive yourself in the experience.
Site of Montreal based digital agency Phoenix. Love the homepage, with scrolling thumbnails and masked title transitions – when tapped transition nicely into the full project pages. Dynamic and lively project pages with lovely animated sections to bring the work to life, some with parallax details, beautifully designed and considered. Great example of a modern and lively agency folio.
Norman is a neat web tool to created animated 3D scenes viewable with a supported VR device. If you have the VR controllers you can create your own animated scenes – like Tiltbrush but all browser based – pretty amazing. Love the hand drawn and organic feel that really brings sketches to life.
A short trip, simple but beautiful premise. Explore an illustrated world through riding a tram, picking up furry passengers, and gliding through serene landscapes. Love the sound design and the absolute simplicity and elegance of the experience, truly wonderful.
Interactive music video for LCD Sound System’s latest tune. WebVR enabled, put it on your device and experience a FPS of a ball floating through a series of 3D scenes that react to the music. You can select other characters to see their perspective too, on desktop you can toggle between the views. Lot of fun, nice concept well executed.
