Explore events from the Netherlands in the 60s in this interactive exhibit. Love the collage where you can explore key moments in a Google Maps-esque layout, slick transitions and animation to the detail view. Subtle parallax effect adds a nice element of depth and love the ‘tours’ which offer audio tours through the content.
Site for label Raf Simons. Love the one directional scroll which brings in passages of text, which blurs in and out as you scroll. Also love the way the soundtrack muffles when you open the menu. Nice to see something a bit different that stands out from the crowd.
Fun site for Fornasetti, Italian design house from Milan. Love the intro and the playful animations and interactivity which are dotted throughout the site. Full of personality, which is great to see – from the product slideshows where the items float past peacefully through to the animations and interactions – all injecting a sense of fun. It looks good too, love the changing colours of the background, simple and elegant layout and typography.
Simple and elegant site promoting Dom Perignon’s Rose 2002. Beautiful 3d Flash visualisations highlighting sensations, tastes, and feelings you might experience whilst drinking the champagne. Some really nice layouts and lovely visualisations in the sequences – love the rose petals rotating! Wrapped up in an ultra minimal interface to let the content shine.
Great site for Carrera sunglasses. Super modern, fresh design – with sticky navigation element, sliding interface, overlays and so on – and its responsive looks good on mobile too. Really nice typography, well considered layout and design – love the offset grid and red highlight colour throughout. Loads of nice touches, including mini-campaign style pages telling the story of their history and so on. Great example of a responsive, modern & fresh site with parallax, great typography and loads of interactivity.
