Slick folio site of Anthony Goodwin Creative Director / Art Director – and his refreshed portfolio. Minimal and well considered layout which transitions nicely into project pages with a satisfying ripple / bounce. Great body of work and nice attention to detail like the little cursor ‘bump’ along the material-esque background.
Site of Kwok, US based designer, and a personal portfolio. Love the personality dotted all around this site, from the playful dot to dot represenation of distance from my ip to where he’s based, through to a guestbook where visitors leave their messages, it’s like going back to the fun websites of yesteryear. Lovely design and nice mix of type and languages, particularly like the transition from project thumbs to the detail page. Super cool and super fresh.
Gorgeous site refresh from French agency Reso Zero. Love the feeling of depth achieved through the scrolling parallax effect, and the seamless transitions to the project pages – with the hero image gliding across the screen and colour fades – this site is a joy to explore. Beautiful art direction throughout and incredibly well crafted.
Playful site of Art Director & Designer Sandra Autukaite based in London. Love the old school nod to the cursor animation, and the engaging and playful way of viewing work – click and random artefacts start appearing on the canvas. Really simple, stripped back experience that gets across the breadth of the folio.
Site of French Art Director and designer Gilles Tossoukpé. Bold type driven folio, minimal layout to allow the work to speak and seamless transitions between projects. Modern and clean aesthetic with a mix of imagery and motion.
Site of Swiss born artist, photographer and director, with a focus on luxury brands. Lovely minimal folio, stripped back to the essentials – love the homescreen where scrolling down either side reveals a floating stream of imagery. Nice seamless transitions into the detail pages – elegant and fluid.
Site of French Art Director Louis Ansa. Nice range of project wrapped up in a slick and stylish folio site. Bold type, bold icons, lots of transitions and animations really make this site feel alive and fresh. Love the transitions from the project thumbnails to the detail, great attention to detail throughout.
Site of European photography and film studio. Featuring a range of commercial and musical clients wrapped in an immersive experience. Love the homescreen, with large vibrant thumbnails of videos and imagery set against at stark background, inviting you in to explore the projects within.
Site of photographer Sara Mandi and her collection of fashion and luxury photography. Lovely homepage showing a large type driven menu which on rollover reveal thumbnails from the project below, love that the horizontal axis shows other imagery. Nice seamless transitions to the project detail pages, clean aesthetic and nice typography throughout site.
Site of Studio Björk a digital design & development studio in Stockholm. Bold black and white minimal design with horizontal folio scrolling. Love the side scrolling that allows you to open up projects and then browse additional projects on either side, nice seamless transitions to the project details. Cool, modern agency site.
Site of Logram branding and creative agency based in Japan. Looking like a mash up of an early 2000s graphic design experiment and Photoshop layer this site is a medly of type, colours, and gradients. Lovely interactions, where sections of the site are in in separate spaces with sections of colour transitioning to the new pages. Love the dynamic colour palette too, along with the moving layers it feels as though the site is never the same from one moment to another. Very refreshing, lively and bold agency site.
Site of Swedish design agency Akademi. Beautifully bold with large type and monochromatic styling, large imagery to go alongside the project pages. Subtle interaction details like the nice header that follows your scroll and transitions nicely to deep pages. Minimal and nicely designed modern folio.
