Another nice photographer’s portfolio – Emmanuel Rouzic. I particularly like the main homepage, the loading of the thumbnails, & general design. Some nice touches – when in a particular section, when choosing to go ‘next’ a selection of thumbs appear. Deep linking, making of videos, and the clearing of the space (so you can just see the photo) all make a slick, professional folio.

Smart Flash blog for Pill & Pillow. Great example of a good Flash blog, really simple to use, it looks good, and works well. I like the way the posts appear on stage, and how the content changes to fit the browser window. There is some great content as well.
Really slick site for 2929 Productions – an independant film production company. The site looks great and has some really great transitions – nothing ground breaking – just looks & works great.

Great little website, promoting Japanese cards ‘Torecale’ – cool playing cards that feature great designs. The site is really straight forward and full of great touches – based around 4 card games you play the computer and in tern get to see how cool the cards are. Just really slick and fun.

Pretty nice portfolio website of Switch Mediaworks. I’ve included this due to the amount of innovative rollovers and basic interactions that have been re-thought – its refreshing to see conventions of user interactions have been questioned. Nice slick animations and transitions. Particularly like the way rollovers are highlighted and the videos are introduced.
Website of a design & innovation consultancy. Slick 3D navigation interface, and lots of nice touches. In particular the way you navigate images and drill down into the various sections. Text appears in a unique way with lots of movement and nice attention to detail.

Another great example of a site integrating Papervision 3D, this is one of the best showcases of it I have seen to date. A globe highlighting ‘sweetspots’, i.e. a cool snowboarding area, is the main navigation – very easy to manipulate & use. The attention to detail and overall design & polish is really spot on, i.e. the motion blur whilst rotating, and lovely transitions.

Innovative Flash site providing video content in an interesting layout, really like the design and fantastic transitions. he way a mass of information is organised and displayed is really nice, with good use of rollovers and fades – its also very easy to use.

This website has been around for a while – but recently came up as a runner up of the Flashforward2007 Boston Film Festival in the Typography category. I love it, it’s extremely stylish and was one of the few sites that did full screen Flash video. The transitions and attention to detail is great, it also looks amazing…

What a great execution of a fantastic concept to promote the HBO ‘Project Voyeur’ lots of extra material here. You explore an interactive world of videos showing what happens behind closed doors. Exploring various stories in different buildings and over serveral days you view the world through a voyeurs eyes.
Very slick website from Big Spaceship that just works so well. I love the way you can zoom in and follow individual rooms or see them all at the same time, explore different buildings and follow various stories, all very involving.
