Site for digital first agency Locomotive based in Canada. Full of transitions and animations, I love the diversity of the layouts for the project pages. Each project has its own colour palette which transitions when you visit other sections. I love the energy in each of the sections, from the fun ‘play’ section of the site to the detail when you reach the end of a case study – love the colour fade. Full of detail and beautifully designed, great example of a modern agency site.

Site for digital agency and research group Consortia. Lovely scrolling intro that pulls apart the logo and dives you into their lovely folio of work. Simple interactivity that splits the page to reveal the project detail in-situ. The component parts of the logo follow you down the page and add a nice element of depth.

Site of LA based digital agency HAUS. Nice animated intros to each project, with nice level of detail for each of the project pages. Lots of nice details that elevate – such as the contact page where you can play a game on the map, the menu page with awesome bg animations. All in all a well designed and executed modern agency site with lots of personality.

Site for Berlin based agency that specialise in content creation. Love the visual metaphor of the piece of paper that rotates and moves as you scroll to reveal new patterns and color, very elegant and interesting way of presenting a concept of what they do. Nice nav along the right hand side that appears when you get into the more detailed sections.

Site for US based digital and video production agency Nurture Digital. Love the masked showreel in the background as you scroll through the background changes with colour and animation – highlighting that project. It is beautifully designed, nice bold typography and full of great detail and animations – love the way the transitions on the homepage to see individual projects. The project view looks great, love the intro panel which transitions to full screen video then detailed panel down the side appears as you scroll. One of the nicest agency folio sites i’ve seen for a while.

Site for Danish creative agency Ouur. Lovely clean and elegant portfolio of work featuring photography, digital, and editorial work. Love the calm colour wash on the homepage and the offset layout featured throughout the site. The animated gifs add a nice dynamic element to liven it up, combined with the staggered layout it all adds a feeling of energy in the layout.

Site for new art project that invites artists to create in-house artwork for companies that co-create with the team. Lovely execution, love the transition from the header to the page view. It looks loverly with several nice UI moments and love the typography reveals on the homepage, where blocks of black transition into the type.

Lovely site of Spring/Summer Danish digital agency. Refined and elegant is a good way to summarise this site – so many beautiful details in here, and with next-level of polish. Love the work section, when you tap on a project the mask and image stretches to fit full screen with a colour hit from the project fills the preloader along the left side of the screen. Nice and subtle transitions for text and interesting integration of a sticky nav on left side of page – which also shows section in page. Love the way the pages transition – and each project case study is really nicely considered, with in-situ videos / animations / sketches to illustrate their process. It translates beautifully on mobile too with an equal level of polish. A fantastic example of a modern agency portfolio site.

Site for Japanese ad agency Hotchkiss. Love the 3D tiles that shuffle and move as you scroll – really interesting way of presenting thumbnails and projects. Shame it doesn’t filter down into the project view. Nice clean minimal UI and layout that lets the content do the talking.

Lovely update to digital agency Active Theory. Nice approach to the homepage – full screen case study video clips cycle through their latest projects. Dive into the work and find a similar setup – screen captures and videos – letting you see the magic. Love the slide out projects menu on the right, fantastic scrolling effect where the mask moves quicker over the underlaying image. The site is full of detail and great interactions, animations, and transitions – love the peeking strips on projects on the project view – the main menu features a cool 3D logo – lots of cool particle rollover effects. Great attention to detail and a fantastic example of a modern, fresh and beautifully executed site.

Lovely site for creative production agency Onirim. Lovely scrolling and masking transitions from section to section with bold typography and inline video. Beautifully designed, with nice attention to detail and lots of cool transitions and animations – love the directors/photographers page with colour hits on rollover which injects personality into a monotone design. Great example of a modern, slick, and beautiful agency site.

Cool site for Message Design Center agency based in Japan. Love the 3D interactive type on the homepage, which transitions into the hero image for that project when tapped. Also love the company page where 3D characters float across the screen changing into photos – very cool. Nice, clean and simple portfolio site.

Site for Swedish agency Bonnemarque.Beautiful dark look and feel, love the seamless transitions from the homepage to the project details – nicely done with inline video. The project pages are full of detail and outline their approach and the work itself, love the sticky nav on the left ‘BEGIN’ which expands and contracts as you scroll. Menu transition is lovely and slick, lots of cool animations and nice transitions wrapped up in a beautiful responsive design.
