Site of Italian design firm specializing in 3D renders and animation. Dark and simple – love the layers of the hero images slightly moving and the nice text transitions. Nice thoughtful project pages that inject a sense of movement and show the work in a simple way. Lots of nice little details that lift the experience and add some personality.

Site for digital agency based in the US. Lovely transitions and beautiful design make this site a joy to look at and use. Love all the small transitions and interactivity, on the homepage love the way the year marker scrolls down around the project tiles over time. Project pages look lovely, and have a sense of energy and emotion with lots of small details love the preloader too – that just reveals the logo. Loads of fun micro interactions and great type, layout and design.

Site for French agency Femme Fatale. List of projects that as you cycle through they transition nicely between one another – text splits, and image inside mask slides. Simple layout and case studies that highlight the motion design from the projects with inline video. It looks great too, with nice bold type and large imagery.

Site for Japanese interior design firm Draft. Lovely portfolio of work brought to life with lots of nice animation, transitions and interactions. It looks great, lots of large type and offset details that really break up the page and inject a sense of energy.

Site for US based design studio Number 04. Playful and simple with large type that spells out rather than showing what they do. Nice mixture of imagery, video, gifs and so on for the project pages. Love the fun cursor replacements that add a surprising element, lots of nice little features like this – such as rolling over the project thumbs changes the background colour, also – if you leave the site idle for a while – you can play pong! Also a closing note reveals a drawing canvas. Nice modern site with personality.

Site for German digital agency Humans & Machines. Elegant and minimal site for a body of work spanning identity to app design. Lots of nice transitions from section to section, with gorgeous seamless animations – that give a feel of polish and simplicity. The case studies for each of the projects are well considered and include inline videos, animations, and wireframes even to describe their process and pull out the nice features. Such a lovely, modern and fresh experience.

Site for XXIX NYC based design agency. Love the minimal approach and the iframed sites / project windows that showcase their body of work. A lot of the annotations down the side lead to windows where that particular site/visuals is displayed. Type led treatment that makes a bold statement, elegant and simple way of getting across their work in a fresh and modern way.

Site for UK based digital agency Cuberto. Full of slick transitions and nice interaction details that reveals a nice body of work spanning mobile web and native apps. Like the video headers that transition seamlessly into the project case studies. It looks great, with well considered typography and nice layout to create a fresh and modern agency folio.
Fun site for French digital agency Waark. Playful interactivity and transitions bring a splash of fun to this agency’s body of work. Love the transitions from section to section, there’s a lot of personality injected into this experience, from the bouncy boxes, animations, and subtle interactivity.

Site for French based photography studio Chevojon. Slick and simple, scroll through the photos – love that mask reveal transition – nice use of type too. I also like the menu, in that it opens up into a sideways scroll page that reveals a bit of information about the studio and other pieces that you might want. Project page is great too, with lots of lovely transitions and animations provide a nice smooth and premium feel and elevate the photography.
Lovely refresh of global agency Stinkdigital’s website. Clean and fresh and fast, the site shows a great folio of work. Love the transitions from page to page and pleasing gradients that accompany them, nice detail on the project pages with a mix of animated gifs, video content, and imagery. Really like the about page, and love the way they represented the different offices timezones is a smart and playful way.

Site for Parisian based creative studio Maison Nue. Lovely typography led layout, love the first section where rolling over the types of work reveals imagery which then blurs and fades into the background. Also love the feature of cycling through ‘what you like’ which highlights the projects that you might like. Like the way the project thumbnails are revealed inline into the text. Simple, fun, and elegant.
