Site of Zeebee, a self declared ‘one man studio’ a talented Flash guy. Slick and nicely animated and well coded this site showcases the guy’s professional and personal work. Lovely sense of 3d and great 3d animation and transitions. The circle of his work is great fun just to play with and interactive with.

Simple site promoting the NSW Collection Fall 2009 from Nike. Very minimal and focusing on video and photographic details of the clothing. Love the slow motion of the models running and then the transtion between full motion and slow, nice visual effects too. Cool rollovers on the full shot of the items, and nice art direction, with new videos released monthly.

Nice and simple layout with fluid animation, using your mouse scroller you can flow through the thumbnails – when you click on one you get a full screen image which you can scroll around. Website with a great little game which warns you not to ‘touch’ the bottle, promoting from what I can tell a new deoderant. When you click on the bottle it explodes, you then have 5 minutes to put it back together via an ingenious game, similar to the recent 3d game for Pearl Jam. By clicking and dragging a peice of the bottle you can rotate around and find the place it should be in. Really like the intro and the section before you click on the bottle, nice art direction and fantastic execution, great fun.

Site promoting the Watchmen motion comic, an animated version of the seminal Watchmen graphic novel. The various sections within the site have a nice 3d movement to them, with objects at various depth and your mouse controlling your viewpoint, giving a nice sense of depth.

Latest Axe promotional site – Muchas Maracas, in the German / Austrian territory. Really fun series of games / video content which features the Axe stable of scantily clad women, with full screen high quality footage. The games are loosly based on the ‘Muchas Maracas’ concept seen in the latest Axe commercials, one game asks you to hit the cursor keys in time with a beat, another to press the keyboard on the left/right side while a girl is sprayed with a water pistol! Nothing new but simple, and fun – I think the target audience will like it!
Website of the F/W collection from Wrangler of 2009. Very simple site with a nice use of video content to showcase their clothing line. I like the setting of the video shoot in the ‘wild west’ in an abandoned town, it adds a lot of atmosphere – paired with the clean minimal interface and the movie-esque aspect ratio – it gives a nice effect. Nicely built and looks great.

Nice site for The Economist. Scenes composed of 3d boxes mapped with photographs make up this site, each scene represents a ‘thinking space’ for people featured on the site. When you click on a collection of boxes your view moves into position to show the complete scene – it gives a nice effect.
Portfolio of Armin Morbach, hair & makeup artist, publisher and producer. Love the style of this portfolio, really fantastic – parallax scrolling with cool cutout scenery. Nicely interactive and well designed, you really get a nice feeling of depth with the different levels. Essentially a very simple porfolio – but a great looking and effective one, with some nice transitions and effects.

The home of Umbro, English sportswear clothing brand. Very nice, simple, well designed Flash site for the Umbro brand. I like the homepage with its videos and images, which is all visually interesting, and considered layout and typography. They have also included all the latest social media, etc, feeds onto the homepage, i.e. Twitter, Flickr, YouTube and so on. A thoroughly modern, fresh, well considered site – nice!
