Sweet and simple site for Mélanie F – a lookbook for their slippers range. Like the products themselves, the site is fun and colourful – love the elegant layout and smooth scrolling parallax decoration elements. Absolutely love the simple animated elements that really lift the experience – and make it feel that more dynamic.

Lovely site promoting Kenzo’s Fall 2014 range – aiming to replicate a gallery experience from the browser and in 3D! You can connect your mobile device to use it as a trackpad to navigate the 3D gallery or use your mouse to move around the space. On the walls of the galleries are video pieces and images which you can peruse at your leisure. The exploratory nature of the interface is crafted well, and looks great, nice clean lines and moody lighting – I love that you exit through the shop where you can see the items from the gallery!

The interaction model is simple and easy to use, getting to the details of the items all from sliding panels from the homepage. It looks great, and is also responsive too.

Nice site for Nike, and their philosophy of their natural motion range of trainers. Taking inspiration from the shoes themselves, the site is flexible and dynamic, love that you can drag around the blocks of copy, video, and imagery. Lots of detail in the content too – giving a insight into the design philosophy – again which is mirrored by the interface. It is also responsive, which is great to see too. Nice to see something like this which is a bit different, looks good, with a nice visual/interactive concept behind it.

Short and sweet lookbook of Danish fashion brand Stylepit. A slow motion video scene of a train pulling into station, your view looking onto the platform and seeing a diverse range of people wearing the products. You can click and drag the scene to change your view – and see more people and clothing. Really nice simple idea and fun execution and it looks great.

Site showing the genealogy of Nike Free trainers through intricate 3d models of key Nike free models. The detail on the model is incredible, with each part of the shoe rendered with Web GL. Attention to detail is great, the noise layer and colour hues at different edges of the Y axis. Nice to see something a bit different to show off some shoes.

Another great piece of work for Sonia Rykiel, this time revealing their pre Spring / Summer 2014 collection. Loads of super slick animations and transitions and details, especially like the little preloaders in different styles and positions – never overlaid across the visuals. The transitions from the grid to the detail view are pretty cool, and the way you see more tiles on the grid is great.

Site promoting the latest ‘campaign’ from denim label G-Star RAW. Featuring a carousel of looks constructing and de-constructing – love the way the typography builds up, and in the background the different layers of glass rotating and moving. Some nice sections such as the look book – again like the way on rollover you can cycle through some different angles. Nice clean / minimal interface, and monotone style.

Nice site for GREATS a sneaker brand from the US. Really simple, with a grid of their shoes – clicking through takes you to the details where a nicely laid out page tells you all about the shoe. Love the fun 360 drag at the top and the exploded, military style view of all of the components that make up the shoe – bit like a stripped down gun! Minimal design and some nice little touches like the menu and in-page content reveals.
