Site for agency based in Paris Anagram. Lovely homepage with the images scrolling within their mask with movement – love the brush script and splashes of mint colour. Nice subtle animations and transitions throughout all which lift the content. Lots of whitespace and room for the content to breathe, love all the subtle UI elements such as in-line preloading on thumbnails or rollover states.

Fun little site that takes places from anywhere on the world and produces a 3D relief of the topography of the area. Type in a place and you get a grid, which you can split into a puzzle, make a 3D file and even send off to print. Love the simplicity of the experience, nice idea and nice design.

Digital magazine 110% – a lovely multimedia experience that combines video, audio, photography in an editorial style layout. Loads of nice details – love when you scroll items into your viewport the sounds fades in and out, in line block that shows your scroll progress. It looks gorgeous, and has lots of great transitions and animations to bring the content to life.

Love this portfolio of creative director, photographer and film maker Diane Martel. Featuring a beautiful minimal interface consisting of a 3D menu that you scroll vertically – even with sub menu items it remains easy to use. On rollover see a preview and on click a nice horizontal scrolling carousel of imagery. Great to see a refreshing take on the standard folio site, beautifully done.

Site of French digital agency Angstrom. Fresh look and feel, brought to life with lots of slick transitions and animations. With a broad range of work from fashion and drink the work is presented in an interesting way, love all the attention to detail throughout the site, the works page is a great example.
Slam’s lookbook for 2017 – Italian sailing wear brand. Being a lookbook its heavy on the imagery and design – love the bold type and masked images that transition nicely on scroll. Interesting UI element that follows your cursor and changes context on rollover on certain segments of the site.

Very elegant and simple design that allows the photography to pop, love the background colour transitions that match the imagery in foreground. Love the seamless transitions that add a subtle premium well polished feel to the site. It looks great and lots of nice details that make fun to explore.

Interactive documentary exploring the concept of communal living. Really interesting approach, using the medium to show different camera angles, extra panels to explore the concepts, and nice use of colour and type to bring points to life. I love that they really thought about the format of the documentary and allowed you to explore and find out more information contextually as you experience the site. It looks great too!

Really simple interaction model, drag around and the strongest signal closest to your position depicted on the map will tune in a radio station. Really fun way of listening to stations all over the world – through exploration of a 3D globe. Nice idea and nicely executed.

Lovely site for Chanel and in the words of the creators “The Fifth Sense is an online platform from Chanel and i-D celebrating the emotion of scent and the way it inspires female creativity. For its latest commission, Intangible Matter, we worked with digital artist Lucy Hardcastle to bring to life her interpretation and creative vision of Chanel’s N°5 L’Eau, through code.” I love the exploratory nature of the site, the concept itself is interesting – can we interpret a scent online through interactivity? Lovely 3D work, minimal design, nice soundtrack too. Very nice work…
